There are many consignment shops for woman and children. How many do we find for men? Men would like to find clothes and shoes at cheap prices too. An idea that I have is to open a consignment shop for men only where they can buy clothes and shoes at discounted prices. An idea for the name of my shop is Mister's Consignment.
Mister's Consignment would sell a variety of items for men of all ages. The main items would be:
- Flannels/ Long Sleeves
- T-Shirts
- Dress Shirts
- Jeans
- Sneakers
- Boots
- Belts
- Belt Buckles
- Jackets
- Sweatshirts
- Hats
Anyone is allowed to bring in their men's clothing in exchange for money. Employees have to go through the clothing to see what kind of condition it is in. If it is not good, we will not accept it. Employees will decide what kind of price customers will get for the clothes they drop off. Brands of clothing that we would appreciate the most is Wrangler, C.E. Schmidt, Carhartt, and Levis. The type of boots we would like to see is Timberland, Wolverine, Ariat. C.E. Schmidt, Carhartt, and Caterpillar. Sneakers can be anything from Nike to Adidas and Reebok.
Hats, belts, and buckle must be in very good condition in order to have an exchange for money. The clothing cannot have permanent stains, big tears, or a lot of dirt. Boots and sneakers also have to be in great condition. Customers will be looking to get good use out of their footwear and that would not be possible with badly conditioned shoes.
The inside of Mister's Consignment will have many shelves of clothing sorted out into each type. There will be two changing rooms and a bathroom. My floorplan looks like this:
We will take all clothing into consideration.
